A travel-sized nail brush handcrafted in Germany from oiled pearwood with soft natural bristles — the toxin-free alternative to plastic nail brushes that actually fits in your pocket, your gym bag, and your values.
A small travel-size oiled pearwood nail brush in a gently contoured shape with rounded ends. The upper single row of angled bristles is stiffer to deal effectively with particularly dirty nails, while the lower section is set with softer light bristle for general hand and fingertip cleaning.
At just 6 x 2.9cm it slips easily into any toiletry bag, travel kit, purse, or gym bag without taking up a centimeter of unnecessary space. Durable, rosy pearwood ages gracefully with use — this is the kind of small object that gets better looking over time. Handcrafted in Germany since 1935.
Conventional nail brushes are made from nylon bristles set in plastic handles — petroleum-derived from start to finish, and destined for the landfill after a few months of use. This brush is the opposite of that. Natural bristles clean gently but thoroughly without scratching the nail bed or cuticle, and the oiled pearwood handle repels water naturally without any chemical treatment. Regular use keeps skin smooth and free of buildup, cleaning knuckles, nail beds, and fingertips — a small daily ritual that matters more than most people realize. Clean hands and nails are one of the simplest and most overlooked pillars of a toxin-free personal care routine. Every material is natural, biodegradable, and completely plastic-free.
To use: Wet the brush, add a small amount of your favorite toxin-free hand soap, and work the angled bristles under and around nails using short back-and-forth strokes. Use the softer lower bristles across knuckles and fingertips.
For travel: Keep in a small open-air pouch or soap dish to allow airflow between uses — avoid sealing in a plastic bag while wet.
Care: Rinse in lukewarm water after each use, shake off excess water, and allow to air dry bristles-down. Occasional conditioning with a drop of linseed oil will keep the pearwood handle in beautiful condition for years.
