After all of the reading about real food and nutrient-dense food, I have fine tuned my diet to include a few superfood whole supplements. Every day after eating I take a few organic amla tablets, a sip of traditionally-made cod liver oil, and a teaspoon of emu oil. I've read so many examples of these foods being included in traditional diets throughout time and I trust all of our ancestors before us!

Raw and wild cod liver oil!!! Hello! Nutrient-Dense Superfood Happiness

-harvested sustainably & wild-caught from the fjords of northern Norway

-the only unprocessed fish liver oil available

-pure & raw (has not been winterized, bleached, deodorized, molecularly distilled or refined in any manner) (raw: no heat and doesn't ever exceed room temperature)(Every other cod liver oil manufacturer uses heat multiple times in excess of 300°. Even “cold-processed” cod liver oil gets superheated during molecular distillation and deodorization)(Most cod liver oil is “winterized”, taking the oil well below freezing to remove saturated fats, waxes and stearins that will solidify as it cools. Without winterization, this oil keeps the full spectrum of nutritious fats and is better protected against oxidation)

-handcrafted using a rare, generations-old cold process extraction technique that allows nature to separate

-fish to fresh oil in hours!

-nutritional benefits of a whole, nourishing food

-contains naturally occurring vitamins A and D, and omega-3 fatty acids (also containing the full spectrum of omega fats!) no synthetic vitamins are added

-mild, fishy, buttery taste

-395 IU vitamin D3 per teaspoon and 3,900 IU vitamin A per teaspoon (with some variation batch-by-batch due to naturally occurring seasonal shifts)

-443 mg EPA and 605 mg DHA per teaspoon, along with a full spectrum of omega fats, including  3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11

-Made only from Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) caught by line (no nets!) in the pristine waters near Dønna, Norway.

-created in small batches

-no heat, bleach, solvents, mechanization, winterization, deodorants or chemicals are used

-nitrogen-flushed glass bottle minimizes oxidation, with minimal exposure to oxygen and light and no exposure to metals

-each batch is tested twice for contaminants and monitored to maintain strict EU standards before being exported

-a tiny drop of natural antioxidants – organic rosemary herb and full spectrum vitamin E (from sunflower seeds) is added to maintain freshness

-oxygen-free bottles can be shipped without cold packs

-exposure to light and air is minimal; work is done in a cool, dimly lit facility

-untouched by metal (reactive metals can accelerate oxidation) even the knives used to harvest the livers are ceramic

-every step is meticulously developed to minimize damage to the precious nutrients

-healthy livers from healthy fish from healthy waters

-every liver used is harvested from fish the company has caught themselves from the pristine waters along the coast of northern Norway (they use their own small fishing boats and only lines - no nets)

-fishing sustainably for the fishermen is a way of life; they love the pristine waters they fish that have been near their homes for generations

-they inspect each fish and liver individually and have the oil made in small batches within hours

Please shake before using! Because this is a raw, minimally processed product, the naturally-occurring fats in the cod liver oil can collect at the top of the bottle. Shaking before each use helps distribute them evenly.

TASTE: It will taste like fresh fish! Combined with added rosemary (antioxidant) some people think it is too strong. To help mellow the taste, remove the bottle from the refrigerator and set on the  counter for five minutes. Then gently shake the bottle before dispensing. Taking the liquid with a bit of Emu Oil on the spoon can help smooth out the taste and adds vitamin K2.

TEXTURE: It is a full spectrum fish liver oil. Unlike refined fish oils, this contains many different fatty acids that thicken when refrigerated. When chilled, the stearins, waxes and triglycerides may appear as particles, as a film, cloudy, or thick like gelatin. This is normal for fresh, wild and raw cod liver oil.

PROCESS: First, after removing the livers from the fish, they gently expose them to near-winter conditions (like the cold waters where the fish swim). They then gently allow them to warm them up to just a bit above freezing. This gradual shift in temperature and pressure breaks down the liver cells. Within an hour or two, they release the oil with all its nutritional goodness.

The oil is then gently filtered using a natural marine material that absorbs contaminants like a magnet for easy removal. Next, the oil  goes through a series of paper filters. Each batch is tested twice to meet strict EU standards for export and to ensure they’re free of heavy metals and contaminants.

In addition, tiny amounts of a carefully selected organic rosemary extract and full spectrum vitamin E is added to ensure freshness.

Each bottle is then nitrogen flushed to remove any oxygen and protect the contents from oxidation. This protects the cod liver oil even when shipped or stored in extreme heat, since oxidation cannot occur in the absence of oxygen.

As a result, you get a delicate, fish flavored – almost buttery – fresh and nutrient-rich oil.*  It’s as close to the oil in the living cod fish liver as you can get!

Nutritional benefits of cod liver oil*

As you know, Rosita EVCLO is a source of naturally occurring vitamins A and D, and omega-3 fatty acids. It also has the full spectrum of omega fats!

Please consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before adding any supplement to your diet regimen. Be advised that these dosing recommendations are not based on individual IUs per serving size and may differ for some individuals.  It is important to begin with just drops for any small child, baby, or sensitive teen, and work gradually toward a therapeutic dose, if it’s needed. Remember that what is therapeutic for one individual may not be for the next.

EVCLO can be taken on its own or mixed with foods which are at a temperature not greater than 37ºC (98.6ºF).

  • Adults: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon daily or as needed, with food.
  • Children and sensitive individuals: 1 to 4 drops daily or as needed, with food.
  • Infants (4 months and older, as approved by doctor): 1 to 3 drops daily as needed. Drops may be administered by spoon or by dropper prior to feeding.
  • Pregnant and nursing mothers: Do not exceed more than ¼ teaspoon daily. Take as needed. Best taken with food.

Important: The supplements we carry are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it’s critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a very small dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what dose feels right for you.

Proper storage is critical to conserving the nutritional properties of Rosita EVCLO. Once opened, light and heat accelerate the rate of oxidation when the oil is exposed to oxygen. Each bottle of EVCLO liquid has been nitrogen flushed before sealing to remove oxygen from the bottle.

Once the bottle has been opened and the contents are exposed to oxygen, please keep the oil away from direct sources of heat and sunlight and recap/refrigerate immediately after use.

Upon receipt of your Rosita EVCLO, please refrigerate the bottle.

If the bottle arrives warm, wait until it is chilled before opening and taking a dose.

For long-term storage, unopened bottles can be stored in the freezer for up to two years (3 years from best before date on bottle label) and in the refrigerator for up to one year.

Once opened, EVCLO liquid must be consumed within three months.

NOTE:  The oil may become cloudy, thicken or have pockets of stearins (the fatty acids) when refrigerated or frozen.  This is a good thing!  There is no cause for concern and is a sign that the oil contains all of its natural full spectrum omegas (3,4, 6, 7, 9 and 11) and vitamins.

To redistribute the fats, gently shake before use.
