A long-handled, soft-bristle massage brush handcrafted in Germany from waxed beechwood — designed for the daily dry brushing and lymphatic drainage rituals that transform your skin and circulation from the inside out.
This long-handle massage brush features a shaped, flat handle designed to reach between the shoulders and across the back with ease. Handcrafted from waxed beechwood set with soft, light bristles and finished with a hole for hanging or cord threading. At 30cm long, it strikes the ideal balance between control and reach — precise enough for focused massage strokes on arms and legs, long enough to work your back independently. The waxed beechwood finish offers greater water resistance than untreated wood, making it well suited for bathroom storage. Handcrafted in Germany since 1935.
Most of what passes for a "massage brush" today is a synthetic-bristle plastic paddle that scratches rather than stimulates. This brush is built around an entirely different intention. Soft light bristles improve circulation, exfoliate skin, and support dry skin brushing — the practice of moving lymphatic fluid toward the heart that has been a cornerstone of European wellness culture for generations. Used consistently before showering, dry brushing with this brush can help reduce the appearance of congested skin, support the body's natural detoxification pathways, and leave skin noticeably softer over time. Every material — waxed beechwood, natural bristle — is biodegradable, plastic-free, and sourced with a 90-year commitment to natural materials.
Dry brushing technique: On dry skin before showering, begin at the feet and brush in long strokes toward the heart. Use small, circular, clockwise motions across the stomach, chest, and back, and long strokes toward the heart on the limbs, starting at the extremities and gradually working toward the torso.
Wet use: Apply your favorite toxin-free body wash and work in the same directional pattern.
Care: Rinse bristles in lukewarm water after wet use, towel blot, and hang bristles-down to air dry. Waxed and oiled wood repels water and makes this brush more suitable for storing in bathrooms and wet rooms — but avoid prolonged soaking. Re-wax the handle occasionally with a natural beeswax or wood wax to maintain its finish.
