-Before first use: Fill your piece 3/4 full with water and place uncovered in an oven for 30 minutes at 400°F. A complete seal may occur after several uses. If the vessel remains porous, boiling milk may help, but this is rarely necessary.

-Avoid sudden temperature changes and exposure to extreme temperatures.

-Cleaning: After seasoning, quickly soak and wipe down with a sponge or soft cloth. Avoid dishwashers, abrasive cleaners, and soaking for long periods.

-Note: Due to the handmade process, dimensions may vary, and small imperfections or flecks of minerals in the clay are natural. Lids are individually made but may not fit perfectly due to various shrinking rates during firing.
