Did I tell you I'm in H E A V E N eating fresh herbs from the backyard garden?!?!?! It is true! I always knew it was possible but didn't have the skills/mindset. A dear angel is doing it for me and teaching me along the way!
I'm still learning and retraining my brain to be considerate of and attentive to the plants! It is quite an adjustment from a lifetime of "picking and gathering" plants from the store. Little by little I hopefully will succeed!
I found all heirloom seeds (YAY!!) and have raised beds (hopefully controlled, healthy soil!! both yard-bordering neighbors spray chemicals). All my favorites!!! Marjoram, parsley, rosemary, dill, oregano, thyme, sage, tarragon, mint, basil (4 kinds!), garlic chives, microgreens (arugula, watercress), and some "new" (to me!) experiments: borage (LOVE!!), catnip, lavender, epazote, chamomile, lovage, summer savory!
SO GRATEFUL for always Another Happy Week!
