What would be your last meal on earth?

“The chicken would be from Landes, very big

and fat, roasted simply in duck fat with garlic

and bay leaf and basted during the cooking so

that its skin was very crunchy, and the sauce

would just be the juice, deglazed from the pan and with the

fat barely skimmed off.”
