Celebrating M O M M A C I T A ! Another Happy Week No 53

Sweet Love Behzad encountered a skateboarding accident this week and during his recovery I found myself thinking "I'm just like my mom!" I remember when we were sick or injured and confined to bed, she always improved how we felt by cleaning the environment and straightening the bedding. It sounds so simple but it had dramatic effects! It always made me feel better!

As I was straightening everything for Behzad and realized I was doing what I learned from my mom, I realized how grateful I am to have her as my mom!!! Not only does she have a genius level IQ but her genuine love for life and empathy for others goes beyond genius.

At the beginning of this week, she took my brother, his boys and me to the golf course; she taught us and is now teaching the next generation the love of being outside, being active and cultivating a happy life! I watched with delight as she showed my nephews the joys of body rolling down the hills of the golf course:) Even the grand game of golf becomes gleeful with my mom's inventive joy!

It's overwhelming to honor all I've learned from my mom in a short blog post, but I owe so much of my happy life to her: love of reading, love of being outside, love of nature, love of people, love of laughing, love of being active, love of animals, love of learning, love of the universe, love of life!!! T H A N K  Y O U  M O M ! ! ! ! !

I also thought about how grateful I am for the different mineral rich salt I eat! The traditionally-made salt "as Mother Nature intended" contains 90 minerals and trace elements and more than 50,000 natural organic compounds (minerals and elements depleted from modern diets: "You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral and trace element deficiency." - Dr Linus Pauling, Nobel Prize winner). "Special salt-producing techniques are utilized to insure that every mineral and trace element present in the sea water is found in Baja Gold sea salt. Minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and specifically trace elements such as selenium, zinc, yttrium and gold (used for health benefits for more than 5000 years) give Baja Gold its especially tasty flavor." It is true! So delicious!!! "Gourmet chefs are discovering that minerals and trace elements found in Baja Gold bring new taste dimensions to their creations and increase gastronomic value with its flavor and soft texture."

So grateful to know how to cultivate Another Happy Week! #thankyouMom!
