Camino Minimalism

I have mostly lived simply my whole life. At first it was by accident. My mother loved throwing unnecessary items away to keep the house tidy (sometimes even necessary items like homework). A few years before walking the Camino, I also became extremely minimalist. Circumstances required many, many moves in a short amount of time. By the 8th move in a brief time period, I didn't want to own any more belongings! I also was learning more and more about nutrition and chemicals in food/clothing/homes. Gradually, my life’s belongings became only necessary items made with pure, real ingredients and materials.
